I was honored to receive the prestigious Graphis New Talent Silver Award for my film title animation, Coraline. The recognition of this award is of great significance as it was granted among a pool of over 1,000 submissions, where established creative professionals evaluated each entry.

I was tasked with designing a title sequence that predominantly utilizes typography to tell a story. After consideration, I chose to reimagine the opening credits of Coraline, a 2009 horror-fantasy movie.

In order to create the appropriate atmosphere for the title sequence, I made three different moodboards that reflected the movie’s main themes. After consideration, I chose the Manipulation theme as it offered a broader range of visuals and best aligned with the film.
